Unless you're looking for the real thing, get a safe start to your Shark Week. Tonight, the San Francisco Symphony performs the live score at a screening of Jaws, and on Friday, the Aquarium of the Bay has shark awareness talks and activities lined up.

There's also no shortage of Bastille Day celebrations to honor all things French, including a toast or two at The Yard, parties in the city's old French quarter and a full day of food, music and dancing at Justin Herman Plaza.

Other fun things to check out include an independent craft and design fair at Fort Mason, attempts to break the Guinness World records for handstands and human flowers, a superhero-themed party for kids in Dolores Heights and Sunday Streets in the Mission.

Here's the rest of your roundup for the busy days ahead:

Thursday, July 13

Friday, July 14

Saturday, July 15

Sunday, July 16
