Craving tacos? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 1128 SW 8th St. in Little Havana, the fresh arrival is called Tacos El Norteño.
The cash-only hole-in-the-wall taco joint on Calle Ocho offers an assortment of taco trio options. Your choice of proteins include beef, chicken, marinated pork, stomach, Mexican pork sausage, beef cheeks and beef tongue for $6.75-$7.50. If three is too much, one taco with beef tongue, pork stomach or beef cheeks will cost you $2.50.
Wash it all down with your choice of soft beverages, beer and Horchata.
With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Tacos El Norteño has already made a good impression.
Yelper Michelle D. said: “You had me at new taco spot. Hole-in-the-wall with a huge sign-up front. If you spot the Marathon gas station, you're close. Three tacos per order- though I believe if you wanted one taco, and it could be arranged."
And Santiago G. added: "Excelente y deliciosa variedades de tacos, sencillos y muy económicos, and recomendados 100% y lo mejor es que está abierto hasta las 3 am."
