An eclectic new music venue, patio restaurant and bar has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Wynwood, called Garden Food and Bar, is located at 270 NW 23rd St.
The new spot, complete with picnic chairs, stringed lights, individual cabanas, hammocks and live music, is the perfect place for your next get-together. In addition to live entertainment (for which you can book VIP tables and bottle service), the bar and restaurant also lets you smoke hookah outdoors, if you wish to do so.
If you're hungry, expect to chow down on bites like BBQ wings ($10), a variety of burger options ($10-$13), and Latin American dishes like papas bravas, churrasco, and a hefty parilla mixta that includes skirt steak, chicken, sausages and baked potato ($35). Garden Food and Bar has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a four-star rating thus far.
Sunny A., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on July 16th, said: "Great outdoor bar and cafe across from Shots. Drinks were good. I had the Garden Passion with vodka, passion fruit, and lime and agave. Delicious! Hubs got his usual Zacapa and Diet Coke. The food was also very good!"
