All eyes may be on the Outside Lands festival, but here are some alternatives to build your weekend plans around.

Tonight, visit Polk Street (between Jackson and Post) for the second-annual Summer Wine Walk. There's also a retrospective on African-American arts and activism from 1960s San Francisco in SoMa, and a free panel on LGBTQ portrait art in the Castro.

On Saturday, brave the elements with the 37th annual "Escape from the Rock" duathlon. Both the 8th annual Chinatown music festival and the Pistahan Filipino Cultural festival kick off at 11am and the inaugural Mission Bay movie night will screen Toy Story at 8pm with proceeds benefiting the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.

Round it all out on Sunday with a flea market in the Inner Sunset, a dog-friendly wine event on Treasure Island and embracing your fantasy fandom with a Harry Potter-themed orchestral concert at Davies Symphony Hall and a Game of Thrones viewing party (dragons!) in the Marina.

Here's the rest of your roundup for the days ahead:

Thursday, August 10

Friday, August 11

Saturday, August 12

Sunday, August 13
