Mobile Coffee Artisans: ‘Here, There And Everywhere We Wish To Be’Photo: SF Coffee Cruiser

SF Coffee Cruiser is a sustainable grassroots coffee company founded by Manny Lee and Barakah Aly.

Operating solely from a food cart, the duo roasts and brews single-origin Ethiopian drip coffee in small batches on the streets of San Francisco.

The pop-up coffee shop has no fixed location; Aly and Lee serve customers at Dolores Park, Civic Center, Ocean Beach, 16th & Mission and other hubs. “We are here, there and everywhere we wish to be,” they write on their web site.

“We serve pour over coffee, and we grind it every morning,” said Aly, who said she’s learned roasting techniques from her Ethiopian grandmother.

A cup of coffee served in a reusable Mason jar is $4, but customers who bring their own containers will receive a $1 discount.

To find out where Aly and Lee are brewing, send them a message on Facebook or follow @SFCoffeeCruiser on Twitter.
