Whether you're in the mood for helping fire relief efforts, sampling a dozen types of chowder or watching corgis sprint across Ocean Beach, this weekend has a little bit of everything.

Friday brings a bevy of fundraising efforts, including a benefit for North Bay fire relief in the Mission, an artist gala for Puerto Rico in Chinatown and Art for AIDS in SoMa, with proceeds going to the UCSF Alliance Health Project. You can also kick back and relax with tequila flights courtesy of a master tequila distiller or dance the night away celebrating the SF Filipino community.

Festivals come fast and furious on Saturday with a Segway obstacle course and a chowder competition in Fisherman's Wharf, celebrating local food and artists in Potrero Hill, a retro sci-fi film festival in the Outer Richmond and local metal bands rocking out in McLaren Park.

There's also pumpkin carving in the Presidio, a mural block party in the Mission and corgis tackling a Ninja Warrior obstacle course at the always amazing Corgi Con at Ocean Beach.

Round out the weekend on Sunday with a jazz festival in Bayview, a review of current state legislation with Senator Scott Wiener and "mewvie" night in Hayes Valley with a few of your favorite feline friends.

Here's the rest of your roundup for the days ahead:

Friday, October 20
