Even with the short week and a big holiday, there's still plenty to do around the city this weekend.

Tonight, build your appetite for tomorrow's meal by dancing the night away at a pre-turkey party in SoMa.

Organizers are waiving the cover charge for those who bring a donation: food, diapers, blankets and clothing are especially welcome, with all items donated to SF-Marin Food Bank.

Keep your metabolism up tomorrow with either an early morning boot camp in the Mission or the annual Turkey Trot Thursday in Golden Gate Park.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season on Friday with tree lighting ceremonies in Ghirardelli Square and Union Square, then cap it off with an offbeat holiday-themed musical in the evening.

Get a start on holiday shopping on Saturday with the last Treasure Island Flea Market of the year or a holiday craft gift festival at Pier 35. There's also caroling and "wintery surprises" at Union Square's Winter Walk, along with a carousel lighting and holiday festival in SoMa.

Lastly, tie a bow on your weekend with a tree decoration party at City Hall on Sunday.

Here's our complete roundup for the days ahead:
