Ingleside-Excelsior Light Launches Subscription Drive For Reporting In Southern NeighborhoodsPhoto: Excelsior Action Group/Facebook

The Ingleside-Excelsior Light newspaper has been a crucial source of street-level news for the southern neighborhoods since 2008. Now, it's starting a subscription drive to pay for a part-time online local reporter.

You've probably read some of its scoops over the years, particularly if you live in the Ingleside, Excelsior, Oceanview and Merced Heights neighborhoods.

You can subscribe and find more details on Patreon.

A long-time Hoodline syndication partner, the Light covers local community news about businesses, people and organizations, housing, crime and safety. It also does in-depth reporting on hot topics like after-hours clubs and gambling dens, fire code problems at City College, and much more

If you want to support local journalism, particularly in the woefully undercovered southern neighborhoods, please consider a donation.
