There's a brand-new bar in town. Located at 2101 N. California (between Shakespeare Ave. & Dickens Ave.) in Logan Square, the fresh arrival is called Golden Teardrops.

This new pub, located in the former home of punk club Ronny’s Space, is the latest creation from Land and Sea Dept.—the same folks behind popular outfits like Lost Lake, Parson's Chicken & Fish, and Longman & Eagle.

The space boasts two levels for imbibing, topped with a rooftop deck for lounging. The bar is helmed by veteran barman Paul McGee, and while the drink menu is still in the works, expect to see a variety of handcrafted libations, bottled beers, and top-shelf liqueurs.

There's just one review on Yelp thus far, which gives it five stars.

Michael H., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on November 22nd, said: "Dark, sexy space...bring a flashlight! Inside, it's pretty tiny, but they make up for it with a great cocktail list. Nice assortment of different drinks from all over the map."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Golden Teardrops is open Saturday from 5pm–3am and Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 5pm–2am. (It's closed on Monday–Wednesday.)
