A new nail salon has opened its doors in San Jose. The addition to Willow Glen, called SugarCoat Nail Bar, is located at 1547 Meridian Ave.
Located at the Carriage Square shopping center, it features an array of salon services like manicures, pedicures, facials, eyelash extensions, and artificial nail application.
The salon also specializes in French gel tips, powder dip, glitter powder, and manis and pedis for kids under 12.
There's also a happy hour with complimentary libations every Monday and Wednesday, from 2–7pm.
The new nail salon has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of 15 reviews on Yelp.
Jennifer W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on December 11th, said: "My favorite nail salon to go to in SJ! I rarely write reviews for anything, but this salon is an exception! Everyone here is very welcoming and their interior decor is amazing!"
Yelper Jessica D. added: “I've been to a lot of nail shops, and by far, this has got to me one of my favs. They are very welcoming, especially when you walk right through the door."
And Elaine C. said: "This is a wonderful, relaxing, and impeccably clean place. I got a lavender spa pedicure, which I really loved."
