If you love champagne and salsa dancing, the Veuve Clicquot Carnaval in Museum Park is the place to be. "Set in the beautiful Museum Park overlooking Biscayne Bay, the afternoon will include traditional Carnaval entertainment with salsa dancing and live music," the organizers promise. "Veuve Clicquot champagne will be available for purchase on-site, alongside delicious on-site food offerings."

Local tea importer JoJo Tea is showcasing its wares by pairing them with bites from chef Adriana Egozcue, from a smoked cheese tart with thyme and cranberry (with oolong tea) to a black sesame and honey custard (with Yunnan Gold tea). Act fast if you want to attend—this small event only has 12 seats.

This week's film: the documentary The Rape of Recy Taylor, about a black wife and mother who spoke out about her sexual assault in the dangerous pre-civil rights climate of the 1940s.

Hit up a brand-new farmers market
Gallery and open-air arts space Graffiti Gardens is launching its first-ever farmers market, which it's dubbed "Garden Grown." According to the organizers, "Our Market will boast fresh seasonal produce, artisanal goods created by local artists and craftsmen, as well as fun interactive activities for all members of the family." The grand opening party will feature painting activities for children, a succulent garden building station and more.
