If tacos are what you're after, look no further than Tiki Taco, located at 2010 P St. NW (between N. 20th Street and N. Hopkins Street) in Dupont Circle.

The new spot brings an island breeze to D.C. in the form of tacos, poke bowls, shaved ice and more.

On the menu, look for a variety of Hawaiian flavor combinations, with dishes such as kailua pork tacos with watercress and pineapple salsa; tiki-style poke with sweet onions, cilantro, pineapple salsa and lime juice; and Maluka's guacamole with black bean corn salsa. (Check out the full menu here.)

The new addition has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5 star rating out of 21 reviews on Yelp.

Natasha P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 18th, said: "My boyfriend and I went to Tiki Taco for lunch yesterday. We both loved the chicken and pork tacos, and the beef and fish tacos were pretty good too. We could see them prepping fish and mangos behind the counter so the food was definitely super fresh."

Yelper Max U. added: “This is a must try new spot just south of Dupont circle. The staff is super friendly, and the food is delectable. Refreshing, fresh, tasty, quick, tropical, savory, sweet, divine. These are just a few of the words I would use to describe Tiki.”

And Evie S. said: "Quick and friendly service when we ordered to go. My poke was delicious and came with a side of white rice. Overall a good eating experience."
