If popsicles are what you're after, look no further than Morelia Gourmet Paletas, located at 185 N.W. 25th St.
Handcrafted with fresh ingredients, these unique treats are made daily in a variety of flavors. The menu features fruit, cream and filled paletas, including maracuya (passion fruit) with condensed milk, banana filled with Nutella and Sicilian pistachio.
The new shop in Wynwood is Morelia's third location, with the others in Coral Gables and Orlando.
With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Morelia Gourmet Paletas seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Robert B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 25, said, "One of the best ice creams I've tasted in my entire life! Chocolate, coconut, peanut! The best, just the best."
And Dan C. said, "The paletas are excellent and so are the toppings. Customer service is great. Had the coconut one with dark chocolate dipping. Added some chocolate sprinkles. This was very delicious."
