Topping the list is Red The Steakhouse. Located at 417 Prospect Ave. East in Downtown, this haunt is the highest rated steakhouse in Cleveland, boasting four stars out of 190 reviews on Yelp.

Red's bill of fare includes shrimp cocktails and tuna poke from the raw bar; steak tartare, Maryland lump crab cakes and Brad's stuffed hot peppers for appetizers; and main courses like dry-aged prime ribeye steaks, king crab, whole Maine lobster and free-range veal chops. 

2. Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar

Next up is Downtown's Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar, situated at 623 Euclid Ave. With four stars out of 124 reviews on Yelp, the steakhouse and sushi bar, which offers seafood and more, has proven to be a local favorite.

"Overall, the drinks and food were delicious, but there is no place more gorgeous in Cleveland then the Marble Room," Yelper Maggie R. said. "Totally worth the price for the amazing experience you will have."

3. Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

Downtown's Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, located at 123 W. Prospect Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the steakhouse four stars out of 59 reviews.

Come hungry and keep an eye out for hearty offerings like the surf and turf, featuring a 6-ounce filet and twin lobster tails; dry-aged burgers with fries and onion strings; chicken Parmesan with provolone and red sauce; and a selection of traditional steakhouse options like New York strips, bone-in filet mignons and 22-ounce porterhouse steaks.  

4. Ruth's Chris Steak House

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Downtown is another go-to, with four stars out of 51 Yelp reviews. Head over to 200 Public Square, Suite 104 to see for yourself.

With locations peppered all over the U.S., this well-loved establishment keeps it traditional with items like the petite filet with shrimp; ribeye and New York strip steaks; and the Cowboy ribeye — a 22-ounce bone-in monster. And don't forget to complete your meal with sides like creamed spinach, fire-roasted corn, potatoes au gratin and grilled asparagus.
