Co Do 2
4251 Truxel Road, Suite C1

Co Do 2 is a new Vietnamese spot from the owners of Co Do on Stockton Blvd. in South Sac. Located at 4251 Truxel Road, Suite C1 in Natomas, it specializes in spicy beef noodle soup and other Vietnamese classics, as we previously reported.
House specialties besides the bo bun hue (spicy beef noodle soup) include its cousin, phở; vermicelli noodle bowls topped with charbroiled shrimp, pork balls, egg rolls and shredded pork; and grilled meat and rice plates like the barbecued pork chop and fried shrimp cake combination.
To accompany the meal, Co Do 2 offers Vietnamese-style fruit smoothies, milk teas topped with boba, jelly or egg pudding, and signature beverages like a fresh lemon soda with salted plum and salted preserved leaves.
With a 3.5-star Yelp rating out of 61 reviews, Co Do 2 is still finding its way, but it's early days.
Yelper Monika L., who reviewed the eatery on June 6, wrote, "The food itself was above average. We had two vermicelli bowls, one chicken and one with pork, egg roll and shrimp. We also had chicken chow mein. They get the charbroiled flavor just right here. ... Overall a good meal at an affordable price!"
And Han N. said of the phở, "It was good. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but enough to satisfy my craving. Service was great. I also ordered the cha gio and they were decent."
Co Do 2 is open from 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday.
Sprouts Farmer's Market
2810 Del Paso Road

Over at 2810 Del Paso Road, a new outpost of Sprouts Farmer's Market has made its debut. The North Natomas location is the seventh in the Sacramento area for the Phoenix, Arizona-based natural grocery store chain, but only its second within Sacramento proper, as we recently reported.
To distinguish itself from competitors, Sprouts focuses on an extensive and relatively affordable organic produce selection, a large natural health and wellness section, and a similarly thorough bulk foods section that includes spices, coffee and teas sold by weight.
Also available are choices from the in-house butcher, bakery, and takeout and deli foods.
With a four-star rating out of 43 reviews on Yelp, the Natomas Sprouts has been getting positive attention.
Yelper Stephanie T., who reviewed the market on June 14, wrote, "The prices here for produce are the best. I love how fresh and affordable it is here. Seafood is also reasonably priced and is so much better than where I used to buy from."
Samantha C. mentioned, "What I do like about this store is that since it's new, it's not super crowded and the coffee aisle, particularly the bean grinders, are not mucked up yet. I noticed the taste difference between the coffee I ground from Laguna and from Natomas — the one in Natomas tasted purer."
Sprouts Farmer's Market is open from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.
Club Pilates Natomas
2860 Del Paso Road, Suite 300

San Diego-based national chain Club Pilates has opened its sixth exercise studio in the greater Sacramento area at 2860 Del Paso Road, Suite 300.
As the company website explains, Club Pilates classes employ exercises focused on Pilates reformer machines, using modernized techniques based on the original method popularized by Joseph Pilates.
One regularly offered 30-minute introductory class is free, and the studio also offers eight different kinds of 50-minute classes differing in their emphasis on cardio, strength training or flexibility. Classes can be purchased and signed up for through an app. (You can check out the full class schedule here.)
With a four-star Yelp rating out of seven reviews on Yelp, Club Pilates Natomas has been getting positive attention.
Yelper Ann M., who reviewed the fitness studio on June 6, wrote, "Everyone has been super nice and helpful. Staff has never 'picked on me' when I did something wrong. Most of the time, they will just walk by and discreetly position you correctly with some tips for a better 'burn.' "
And Kristel V. added, "Signing up for classes is easy once you download the app. Can't wait to take more classes and increase my strength and flexibility. If you're someone who just wants to try Pilates and see what it's all about, definitely come here!"
Club Pilates Natomas is open from 5 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, 5:30 a.m.–9 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, 5 a.m.–6 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m.–1 p.m. on weekends.
