Craving barbecue? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to North Miami, called Q79 BBQ, is located at the 79th St. Yard (1071 N.E. 79th St.)
Q79 serves up brisket, St. Louis-style ribs, and chicken, along with sides like collard greens, cornbread and baked beans. Seating is outdoors at wooden tables, and sister businesses Firito Taco and Tap79 Gastropub operate at the same location.
The new arrival has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating from five reviews on Yelp.
Christopher V., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 1, said, "Great BBQ, tucked in the back of the parking. Will definitely make this a regular stop!"
Yelper Christina I. added, “Pretty delicious brisket! Best barbecue I've had in Miami and the service was great! Certainly would recommend.”
