Craving freshly made pasta? A new Italian spot has you covered. Located at 2103 N.W. Second Ave., the new arrival is called Sette Osteria. It's the third location for the Washington, D.C.-based Italian joint.

Sette Osteria is the joint project of chefs Nicola Sanna, Nicholas Flores, Gaetano Ascione, and pasta chef Angela Marinelli. Together they're offering diners a large selection of Italian pastas, meat dishes, fish, and pizza.

On the menu, look for the cacio e pepe: a deceptively simple pasta composed of housemade tagliolini, parmesan, pecorino, black pepper and olive oil. Diners can also try the breaded veal chop with arugula and parmesan or the tagliolini with shrimp, pesto and diced tomatoes.

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Sette Osteria has been warmly received by initial patrons.

Kiet H., who was the first to review the new spot on May 27, praised the service and decor, and said, "The star of the meal was the tagliolini pasta with shrimp and pesto sauce. ... I learned from the manager that a pasta woman comes each morning to make all the pasta fresh."

"Terrific brunch at Sette Osteria," added Yelper Charles M. "The Crabcake Benedict dish was terrific - perfectly prepared - and the Uovo Cotto was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Sette Osteria - Wynwood is open from noon–10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and noon-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
