A new sushi bar and Japanese fast-food joint has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The new addition to downtown, called Sushi Americana, is located at 159 E. Flagler St. in a historic building.
Visitors can expect a large wall menu complete with pictures that showcase the restaurant's sushi options. Favorites include the scallion Philly roll, made with Scottish salmon.
With five stars out of two reviews on Yelp so far, the fledgling business is off to a positive start.
Carlos L., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 25, wrote, "Great sushi and good quality. Staff and sushi chief are helpful and accommodating."
James C. added, "Sushi was fresh when I arrived and was delicious. Staff was very welcoming and informative about their product."
