Kava and kratom fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. The fresh addition, called Syndicate Kava Bar & Tap Room, is located at 219 NW 20th St., Suite 103 in Wynwood.
Kava is a sedative drink made from the roots of the pepper family and created in Polynesia. Kratom, has more energizing psychoactive effects, is derived from a tropical evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia (primarily Thailand).
The drinks come in a variety of flavors, including unique options like the Arnold Calmer and The Paulie.
Guests can stop by to have classic coffee and tea as well, and Syndicate offers small plates such as chips and salsa as well as burgers and fries.
With a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, has found a couple fans right away.
