Part of the Burger Museum on N.W. 37th Avenue, Wall's Ice Cream is an offshoot of Wall's Old Fashioned Ice Cream, a long-time South Miami ice cream shop.

The new spot is a nod to the early days of the ice cream parlor. You'll find all the classics, like floats and malts, two- or three-scoop cups and cones, the banana split and the brownie sundae.

There are also more elaborate creations, like the Rocky Road Deluxe, with rocky road ice cream, hot fudge, marshmallow sauce, walnuts, whipped cream and a cherry on top.

Wall's Ice Cream currently holds five stars out of two reviews on Yelp, indicating a good early start.

Yelper Rick R., who reviewed Wall's Ice Cream on June 5, wrote, "Wall's was always one of my favorite ice cream shops in Miami, but this Wall's Ice Cream in conjunction with the Burger Beast Museum makes visiting a must."

Helene B. noted, "Great atmosphere and wonderful owners! The museum brings you back to your childhood."

Wall's Ice Cream is open from noon–10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and noon–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Over at Morelia Gourmet Paletas, customers can customize handcrafted popsicles ("paletas" in Spanish) with fillings and flavors.

Look for the cream-based Belgian chocolate, banana filled with Nutella or a lime-flavored popsicle. Patrons can also opt to hand-dip their own selections, with toppings like dark chocolate, sprinkles or Oreos for a more decadent treat.

Morelia Gourmet Paletas's current Yelp rating of five stars out of nine reviews indicates rave reviews from users.

Yelper Jessica F., who reviewed Morelia Gourmet Paletas on July 6, wrote, "The paletas are all homemade and super creamy. Even the water-based ones are full of flavor and very refreshing. You choose a paleta, then dip [it] in in white or dark chocolate [and] finally cover it in different toppings ranging from marshmallow, Oreo crumbs, pistachios, etc."

Tracy S. noted, "The paletas were so delicious, and the service was amazing. We had two guys there that they were so helpful and friendly. I had the strawberry with condensed milk. The condensed milk was a little sweet for me, but the strawberry tasted like fresh, ripe strawberries."

Morelia Gourmet Paletas is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
