Taco Diner is a bar and Tex-Mex spot, offering tacos and more. The chain has locations all around the Metroplex, this one being its seventh overall.

The menu offers dishes like the shrimp and chorizo taco (with spinach, grape tomatoes and Fresno pimento), fajitas (chicken, beef or shrimp with guacamole, pico de gallo, onions, peppers and black beans) and the chilaquiles (tortillas, guiso chicken, ranchero picoso and egg).

Taco Diner is off to a strong start with four stars out of 28 reviews on Yelp.

Lilan N., who reviewed it on June 8, said, "Salsa and chips were super good, fresh and tasted high quality! Spice level was a good medium. The chips were super crispy. We got pork tacos, chicken tacos, chicken fajitas and beef fajitas. The beef fajitas were very juicy and delicious! Chicken here is a little dry and bland. The pork tacos were bomb! Super flavorful."

Yelper Lynette D. wrote, "[The] best! Close to home! Great food! The tacos al pastor are excellent. I especially liked the cucumber/jicama slaw, so fresh."

Siete 7 Salsas Taquería

Siete 7 Salsas Taquería is a Mexican spot that serves up street tacos, quesadillas, tortas, burritos and more.

On the menu, look for tacos like the Pastorqueso (spicy pork with melted cheese) or the Charro (faijta meat with pico de gallo); all tacos are served with lime, cilantro, diced onion and grilled onion. You can also score a platter, like the guiso de pollo served with rice, beans and tortillas, or a burrito like the chorizo with rice and beans.

Siete 7 Salsas Taquería's current rating of 3.5 stars out of four reviews on Yelp indicates the newcomer is finding its way, but it's still early days.

Preston J., who reviewed it on June 27, wrote, "The sauces are fun, tried them all. The corn tortillas were lightly fried, but just a bit too much oil. I like them heated, browned just a little. The meats weren't memorable but the service and experience was."

Yelper Matt L. wrote, "Kind of a hole in the wall looks-wise, but the food is fantastic and that's what's important. Also the staff is super sweet. Highly recommended!"

Siete 7 Salsas Taquería is open from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.

Humble Pie Shop is a new dessert destination that features a menu that changes by the season, depending on the availability of local fresh fruit.

You'll see pies like Emma's Texas Lime (graham cracker crust, limes and whipped cream), the Alabama Pecan (pecans and molasses) and the All the Berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries in a pastry crust), among others. Grab any pies by the slice or just take the whole thing. You can also get a scoop of ice cream if you want your pie à la mode. (See your pie options here.)

Humble Pie Shop's current Yelp rating of 4.5 stars out of 25 reviews indicates positive feedback from customers.

Yelper Ali G., who visited it on July 11, said, "This place is very cute and has really good pie. We got a chocolate pie slice and an icebox lemon pie slice. The lemon was our favorite! The crust was so good! The owner and staff are also really friendly."

Amy D. noted, "I cannot say enough wonderful things about these pies, especially the chocolate pie! It's hard to find a chocolate pie that actually tastes like chocolate and not some weird, gelatinous faux chocolate concoction. This tastes like rich, top of the line chocolate with the perfect crust."

Humble Pie Shop is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday.)
