1. Mac's Club Deuce

Topping the list is the nationally known Mac's Club Deuce, which opened its doors in 1926 and says it's the oldest bar in town. Located at 222 14th St., it is the highest rated dive bar in Miami Beach, boasting four stars out of 244 reviews on Yelp.

The South Beach staple has made its way into pop culture, from an episode of "Miami Vice" in 1989 to CNN's "Parts Unknown" with Anthony Bourdain, per the Miami Herald. 

The daily two-for-one happy hour runs from 8 a.m.–7 p.m. Besides the drinks, the bar features a pool table, darts and a jukebox. 

2. Lost Weekend

Next up is Lost Weekend, situated at 218 Espanola Way. With four stars out of 243 reviews on Yelp, the sports bar, dive bar and pool hall has proven to be a local favorite. This place has a large dance floor and combines libations with billiards, dart boards, video games and live music.

3. Ted's Hideaway

Ted's Hideaway in South Pointe is another go-to, with four stars out of 141 Yelp reviews. Head over to 124 Second St. to check out the sports bar and dive bar for yourself. Stop by Ted's for a craft beer on tap or in a bottle, or choose one of the signature cocktails. Hungry? There are snackables like chili cheese fries, taquitos, chicken wings and quesadillas on offer.

4. On the Rocks

Over in North Beach, check out On the Rocks, which has earned four stars out of 43 reviews on Yelp. You can find the sports bar and dive bar at 217 71st St. Open 365 days a year until 5 a.m., On the Rocks has a wide variety of craft brews on tap, as well as signature cocktails. Entertainment includes live music, karaoke, bar games and multiple televisions.

"If you are under the age of 40 and want a glimpse into what bars were like in the 70s and 80s, this is the spot," wrote Yelper Ketrick L. "I go every time I'm in North Miami Beach and have always had a good time and always stayed longer than I had planned."
