Regeneration Arcade Bar and Pizzeria

Regeneration Arcade Bar and Pizzeria has dozens of classic arcade games and pinball machines, which you have unlimited access to play for a flat entrance fee.
Once inside, you can also order from the bar and pizza menu. The bar serves local beers, wines and house cocktails. Besides pizza, you can score chicken fingers, wings and more.
It has just one review on Yelp so far, which gives it a five-star rating.
Yelper Voodoo M., who reviewed it on Aug. 22, wrote, "Similar to Cidercade and Freeplay, charging a flat fee to play all the games you want. Full bar, attached pizzeria and lots of fun!"

Namo
3699 McKinney Ave., Oak Lawn

Namo is a Japanese spot that focuses exclusively on made-to-order hand roll sushi and sashimi.
You can choose from a number of prix fixe options or order hand rolls individually. Options include salmon, albacore, blue crab, lobster, toro, shrimp, yellowtail and more.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Slater O., who was among the first to review Namo on Aug. 27, wrote, "This is by far the best hand-roll restaurant in Dallas; also the only restaurant that specializes in just hand rolls. I have not had a bad hand roll yet, and I have been here four times now. The waitstaff is exceptional, and the prices are on point as well."
Yelper Eva B. added, “The restaurant atmosphere is neat and simple. Their menu options are small, and they make the rolls in front of you one at a time.”

Salata

Salata is a fast-casual spot to score salads, located within the Plaza of the Americas. The Texas-based chain has four other outposts in the city.
The new salad spot offers diners the ability to create custom salads or wraps, with over 50 toppings to choose from, plus 10 house-made dressings (including chipotle ranch, lemon vinaigrette and ginger lime). There are also proteins to make your salad more filling, such as salmon, shrimp and turkey. You can round out your meal with soup, a cookie and a tea or lemonade. (See the menu here.)

Tiffany B., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 1, wrote, "The service was quick and friendly. ... It's great to have another healthy option available in this building. The menu is at the beginning of the line and is very clear about the process and what the symbols mean. The food was very fresh and the wide variety of options was fantastic."

Hot Stone & Korean Kitchen

Hot Stone & Korean Kitchen has recently debuted in the Preston Hollow neighborhood.
On the menu, you'll find options like the hot stone bibimbap, the spicy pork back bone stew, grilled beef short ribs, marinated beef bulgogi and gimbap (with radish kimchi and spicy seasoned squid).
With a four-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, Hot Stone & Korean Kitchen has made a promising start.
EunSik S., who reviewed the new spot on July 28, wrote, "I had their typical bibimbap and it was fresh! ... The portion is always big and may have gotten bigger than when they used to be at the Carrollton location. I had leftovers even though I used to finish the bowl."
