Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top gyms in Miami, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture next time you're looking to shake up your workout routine.

1. Crossfit Yellow Falcon

Topping the list is Crossfit Yellow Falcon. This local affiliate of the nationwide movement offers both an open gym and group classrooms. Its daily schedule includes Crossfit "workouts of the day," as well as bootcamp classes, Olympic-style weightlifting training, gymnastics, running and more. Both monthly memberships and walk-in options are available. Located at 1930 N. Miami Ave., it is the highest rated gym in Miami, boasting five stars out of 71 reviews on Yelp. 

2. CKO Kickboxing Miami

Next up is Brickell's CKO Kickboxing Miami, situated at 151 S.W. Seventh St. Its one-hour high-intensity kickboxing workouts are available to both beginners and more-advanced participants. Bring your own gloves or use those available at the gym. In addition to bag work, you'll spend time doing strength training work with elastic bands or your own body weight. With five stars out of 44 reviews on Yelp, it has proven to be a local favorite.

3. BodyTek Fitness - Wynwood

The local mini-chain is known for its high-intensity group interval training sessions. Each session lasts one hour and can be adapted to all fitness levels. The gym features everything from free weights to wall-mounted equipment to cardio machines. Memberships are monthly (four, eight or unlimited sessions) or through packages of 10 sessions.
