Stop by 3527 N.E. Second Ave. and you'll find MadCat Restaurant, a new Mexican spot that specializes in torta sandwiches. The menu features shrimp tacos, Cuban tortas, Hawaiian tortas, Italian tortas with beef and more. Wash your meal down with an agua de horchata.

Yelper Julio Z., who gave the eatery a five-star review, wrote, "The Italian torta is amazing, bread is high quality and good size. Fast service. Open late on weekends."

Now open at 1527 S.W. Eighth St. in Little Havana is Ahi Sushi Bar. According to its website, the spot offers an authentic omakase-style Japanese experience. For those who are unfamiliar, omakase is the Japanese tradition of letting the chef choose your order.

The spot serves artfully plated fresh sushi and sashimi along with poke bowls. Reservations are recommended as there is very little available seating.
