Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top diners in Miami, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture when cravings strike.
1. Jimmy's Eastside Diner
Topping the list is Jimmy's Eastside Diner. Located at 7201 Biscayne Blvd., this is the highest-rated diner in Miami, boasting four stars out of 314 reviews on Yelp. On the menu, find traditional breakfast fare like omelets, frittatas, hot cakes, waffles, French toast and more. Classic sides like biscuits with sausage and gravy; hot oatmeal with milk; and jumbo smoked sausage are also available.
2. Mason Eatery
Next up is Mason Eatery, situated at 3470 N. Miami Ave. With 4.5 stars out of 49 reviews on Yelp, the diner has proven to be a local favorite. The menu features items like mac and cheese, a Cobb salad, meat board platters, fried shrimp, frito mixto and much more. On the all-day menu, look for buttermilk pancakes, served with maple syrup, salted butter and jam; challah French toast with powdered sugar; and creamed corn with shrimp and cornbread crumble. 3. S & S Diner
S & S Diner, located at 2699 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 1, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the eatery four stars out of 50 reviews. The all-day breakfast menu includes Belgian waffles with strawberries, bananas and chocolate sauce; an egg sandwich with your choice of bread; and the bagel special with cream cheese, butter and jelly. An array of burgers, hot dogs, soups, salads and sides are also available.
4. University Restaurant and Patio
Then there's University Restaurant and Patio, a Greek and Mediterranean diner in Allapattah. The popular eatery has earned four stars out of 43 Yelp reviews. Burger options include Stevie's Patio Burger topped with bacon, grilled onions, mushrooms and American cheese; Miami Burger with avocado, bacon and Swiss cheese; and the Greek burger with gyro meat and feta.
