Poke fans, take heed. There's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called Poke Ice, the new addition is located at 6214 N. Federal Highway in Imperial Point.
Keep an eye out for menu items like classic poke served with ahi tuna, sweet onion, cucumber and ponzu sauce; chicken poke made with free-range chicken breast, spicy mayo and sweet onion; and seared albacore with mango, jalapeño and avocado. Diners are invited to build their own poke bowls by choosing from an assortment of proteins and mix-ins, and sushi rolls and appetizers are also on offer.
Finish off your meal with Thai rolled ice cream, which comes with toppings like lychee, mango and gummy bears.
With a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival has been warmly received by patrons.
Andrew J., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 9, wrote, "The sushi itself was enjoyable, full of ingredients and not a lot of rice — how it should be. I also enjoyed their avocado salad with sesame ginger dressing. The prices are great and the service was fast and friendly."
Yelper Kelvin W. added, “Truly fantastic poke bowls. Excellent service and healthy food that is as delicious as it is beautiful. The staff is super friendly.”
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Poke Ice is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and midnight–10 p.m. on Sunday.
