If you wanted to be taken out to the ball game but couldn't score tickets, all is not lost. There are plenty of top-notch sports bars in Miami to catch the World Series, all of which have more to offer than your typical stadium hot dog, nachos and overpriced beer.

Using Yelp data and our own methodology, Hoodline crunched the numbers to come up with the best sports bars where you can view baseball's biggest series.

1. J Wakefield Brewing

Topping the list is J Wakefield Brewing. Located at 120 N.W. 24th St., it is the highest rated sports bar in Miami, boasting 4.5 stars out of 289 reviews on Yelp.

The brewery and gastropub boasts 15 taps of its own craft beer and regularly features local food trucks outside. Inside, the walls feature murals of Star Wars characters curated by local artists.

"One of the best breweries in Florida. Always of the highest quality," wrote Yelper Kristi S.

2. Station 28

Next up is downtown's Station 28, situated at 91 S.E. Second St. With 4.5 stars out of 116 reviews on Yelp, the sports bar and Peruvian spot, serving sandwiches and more, has proven to be a local favorite.

This popular eatery serves a variety of burgers and sandwiches with a Peruvian twist. Try the Chicharron Sandwich with home-made fried pork, spicy onion sauce and sliced sweet potato. It also has more than 50 national and craft beers on offer.

Yelper Natalie J. said, "Station 28 is good all of the time. It's very consistent. I always leave wanting more but satisfied with my meal."

3. K&K Billiards Miami

K&K Billiards Miami, located at 1090 N.E. 79th St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the sports bar, pool hall and beer bar 4.5 stars out of 70 reviews.

Enjoy a beer and play a game of poker, chess, billiards or beer pong with your friends. This pool hall frequently hosts monthly billiards tournaments and features an extensive beer and wine menu.

Yelper Johnny C. noted, "This is a great place to have a couple of beers, great food and games! This is our second time here and we love it!"

4. Bavaria Haus

Bavaria Haus, a sports bar and German spot downtown, is another go-to, with four stars out of 146 Yelp reviews. Head over to 401 Biscayne Blvd., Suite N219 to see for yourself.

According to its website, many of the ingredients at Bavaria Haus are imported from Germany. Even the beer comes directly from the Hofbräu München brewery in Munich. Pair a cold beer with one of the eatery's sausage entrees, like the Curry Wurst with pork sausage, spicy red curry sauce and fries. Head to the bar area to watch the game.

"We ordered a couple beers and Curry Wurst to go with it. The Curry Wurst was excellent. It was just the right amount of spice. The sauce was smooth and flavorful and was obviously slow simmered to achieve the perfect consistency," wrote Yelper Melissa B.

5. Black Market Miami

Then there's Black Market Miami, which has earned four stars out of 110 reviews on Yelp. You can find the downtown sports bar at 168 S.E. First St.

This sports bar offers an eclectic variety of bar food including burgers, sandwiches, salads, wings and tacos. Watching the game should be easy with the large amount of televisions inside.

Yelper Patrick L. said, "This is a great place to watch any game. Great music, good food, cool environment and excellent service."
