Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top music venues in Miami, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to venture next time you're in the market for some live tunes.
1. Lagniappe
Topping the list is Lagniappe. Located at 3425 N.E. Second Ave., the wine bar and traditional American spot is the highest-rated music venue in Miami, boasting 4.5 stars out of 727 reviews on Yelp.
It plays host to live music every weeknight from 9 p.m.–midnight and from 7 p.m.–1 a.m. on weekends with both an opening and main act. Check out the current schedule of live performers here. The restaurant and bar serves grilled foods, cheese charcuterie trays and wine.
Yelper Monique G., who reviewed it on Oct. 21, wrote, "This place is always great! Such a casual but great little intimate wine bar. The live music is a plus and sets the tone. I always enjoy buying a bottle and sitting in the back area of the restaurant. They have a beautiful outdoor garden sitting area with lights all around and different types of seating and couches, which makes it cozy."
2. The Wynwood Yard
Next up is The Wynwood Yard, situated at 56 N.W. 29th St. With 4.5 stars out of 297 reviews on Yelp, the bar, food truck yard and music venue has proven to be a local favorite.
The outdoor space offers live music on nearly a nightly basis, plus many other activities throughout the day, including farmers markets, yoga sessions and more. You can see what's coming up at its event page. For food, it provides spaces for a rotating list of food trucks, so your options are slightly different every visit. The full bar offers beer, wine and cocktails.
Amelia L., who visited it on Aug. 20, said, "I went on a Tuesday night and surprisingly there were a decent amount of people there! I can only imagine what it's like on the weekends! It's an outdoor seating area, with a live band that plays just about every night."
3. Gramps
Finally, check out Gramps, which has earned four stars out of 291 reviews on Yelp. You can find the bar, music venue and comedy club at 176 N.W. 24th St.
