There's a brand-new cocktail bar and eatery in town. Located at 3120 Collins Ave. along the oceanfront, The Jim & Neesie can be found inside the new Generator Miami, a building with a rich heritage dating back to the 1940s.
The Jim and Neesie is part of the Generator's old-school glam-meets-Cuban vibe, with a menu that features fusion cuisine and handcrafted cocktails.
Stop by for light snacks, burgers or seafood.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, this new spot seems to be getting a warm welcome.
Brian G., who reviewed it on Sept. 28, wrote, "The cocktails featured some interesting techniques like clarifying the lime juice, and they have super fresh oysters with a great light mignonette (sauce). I had a great experience."
And Mark T. wrote, "We came here [on] our last night in Miami Beach and ordered oysters, a kale salad and cheeseburger, and yellow fin — all made to perfection. If you're looking for a great bar with unbeatable drinks and food, go here!"
