Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top yoga studios around Miami Beach, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture next time you're in the market for a yoga class.

1. Nobe Yoga

Topping the list is Nobe Yoga. The neighborhood studio offers new students a one-month unlimited access pass for $99 to attend classes weighted towards relaxation, awareness and increased flexibility. Sunrise yoga, yin yoga and candlelight yoga are examples of this more contemplative mindset. There are more physically demanding classes, too, like power vinyasa and yoga bootcamp.

Located at 214 67th St. in North Shore, Nobe Yoga is the highest-rated yoga studio in Miami Beach, boasting five stars out of 50 reviews on Yelp.

2. Synergy Yoga Center

Next up is Synergy Yoga Center, which says it is the oldest yoga studio in Miami Beach, having started in a small space in 1995 on Espanola Way. Now with three rooms, it offers more than 50 classes each week, in such eclectic styles as hatha, ashtanga, vinyasa, kundalini and bhakti. From gentle, slow flow, and restore and renew classes, to hot yoga and power yoga, there's a workout for everyone. It also offers services like deep tissue massage, Vedic Thai massage, reiki and acupuncture.

With 4.5 stars out of 64 reviews on Yelp, the studio at 844 Alton Road, Floor 2, in Flamingo Lummus has proven to be a local favorite.

3. Miami Life Center

Also in Flamingo Lummus, Miami Life Center (736 Sixth St.) is another top choice, with Yelpers giving it 4.5 stars out of 39 reviews. The specialty here is an ashtanga yoga system that proceeds from a primary series of postures to cleanse and tune the body, to an intermediate series focused on the nervous system, to an advanced series that strives for strength and grace. Three days a week there are "Intro to Yoga" sessions for newbies. There's even one class taught at the beach at sundown.

4. Greenmonkey Yoga

Next, Greenmonkey Yoga in Sunset Harbor is another go-to, with four stars out of 63 Yelp reviews. Many of the yoga classes are athletic sessions led by experienced teachers designed to make you sweat, while paying attention to yoga fundamentals. 5. Yoga That

Finally, check out Yoga That, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 24 reviews on Yelp. This laid-back studio offers Iyengar yoga, a hatha yoga variant designed to develop strength, mobility and stability. Beginners are made welcome with classes organized to build fundamentals and cultivate flexibility before moving on to more advanced postures. The small second-floor studio is equipped with all the props you need. You can find it at 763 W. 41st St., Suite C.
