Topping the list is Escape-Topia. Located at 6466 N.W. Fifth Way, it is the highest-rated escape room establishment in Fort Lauderdale, boasting five stars out of 37 reviews on Yelp.

"Whether you're looking for a new fun-filled adventure with your family, or you're just tired of staring at TV screens with your friends, get out of your comfort zone and visit Escape-Topia," says the company on its website. 

This horror-themed escape spot offers a variety of thrilling experiences, from  carnival macabre to escaping the undead. Players will have 60 minutes to solve a series of puzzles, find the hidden clues and escape before time runs out. (You can check out the current game selections here.)

2. Think Escape Games

Next up is Think Escape Games, situated at 2635 E. Oakland Park Blvd. A variety of mind-twisting, one-of-a-kind escape games are on offer, including the mysterious Laboratory 51 and the Mayan Ruins — where lost souls have been dwelling for thousands of years. "We had an amazing time in the Mayan escape room," shared Yelper Kathryn C. "The room was so well done I can't stop taking about it. The puzzles, the room, the decor — all very cool."

3. The Jet Ski Escape Room

The Jet Ski Escape Room, located at 4060 Galt Ocean Drive, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the escape game spot five stars out of 27 reviews.

This interactive experience is tropical-themed, where players are locked away in a camp site hidden deep within an imitation exotic jungle. 4. Evolution Escape Rooms

Evolution Escape Rooms is another much-loved go-to, with five stars out of 18 Yelp reviews. Head over to 5300 Powerline Road to see for yourself.
