Kim's stands out with Yelpers due to its reputation as a locals spot that serves up bartenders with character, a classic jukebox and low-key vibe. Pool and ping pong tables take up space in the middle of the bar, while dart boards line the walls. 

3. Hunter's Beach Bar

Central Beach Alliance's Hunter's Beach Bar, located at 235 Almond Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the dive bar 4.5 stars out of 19 reviews.
