Miami Folk & Indie Fest

Celebrate life and the things you love about Miami with the help of hand-written tunes and live music at this year's Miami Folk and Indie Fest. 

This Friday evening at The Wynwood Yard, in honor of its third anniversary, the lineup features musical acts from all over the state, including Foxlove, Alejandro Elizondo of the Wynwood String Band and Keith Johns. Also look for closing acts the Orlando outfit and The Sh-Booms.

The bar will be open, plus children and pooches are invited.

Outdoor film screening: 'Mooz-lum' 

Bring a blanket and picnic basket to this free, outdoor screening of "Mooz-Lum" this Saturday at Gibson Park.

Directed by Qasim "Q" Basir, the film tells the story of Tariq — who enters college as one confused teenager amid a strict Muslim upbringing and a nonexistent social life. New peers, family and mentors help him find his place, but the 9/11 attacks will force him to face his past and make big life decisions.

The screening is hosted by the Black Lounge Film, a winner of the 2018 Miami Foundation Public Space Challenge.

SEED Food & Wine Festival: The After Party at The Wynwood Yard

Head back to the Wynwood Yard this Saturday evening to mingle with celebs and like-minded friends at the after party for SEED Food & Wine Festival's main tasting event.  

Guests will sample vegan wines, craft beers or cocktails, sample vegan bites prepared by nearby food trucks, and jam to live music from Gypsy-Latino Tamboka. Attendees with SEED wristbands will also receive a complimentary cocktail.
