A blaze broke out at about 11 p.m. yesterday in an apartment building at 372 Baker St. (at Hayes), displacing 18 residents and a few of their pets.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the one-alarm fire was resolved less than an hour later, at 11:48 p.m, and no injuries were reported.

City documents indicate that the apartment building has 24 units. Services from the Red Cross were requested to assist those who were not able to return to their homes.
The San Francisco Fire Department noted that the cause of the fire remains under investigation, while the San Francisco Police Department's report this morning added that no suspects were seen.
