There's a brand-new chicken shop in town. Located at 3333 W. Hillsboro Blvd., the new arrival is called PDQ. PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality) prides itself on "real people making real food," according to its website. The fast food chain started in Tampa and now boasts 55 locations in seven states.
On the menu, you'll find chicken tenders and nuggets that are hand-breaded in house, twelve homemade sauces and dressings and hand-spun shakes that come in flavors like vanilla, strawberry and mint Oreo. (See this spot's complete offerings here.)
With four-star rating out of 11 reviews on Yelp so far, PDQ has gotten a good response.
Yelper Nia F., who reviewed it on Dec. 16, said, "Yum! I actually like PDQ a lot. They have really nice employees and I'm glad this location is near my house. I got a nice and fresh honey-butter sandwich with one of their hand-spun shakes and a bottle of cheer wine (cherry cola)."
Marie F. noted, "The service was very fast. [We] went to the counter and ordered and got a table and they delivered it to our table quickly. They kept the tables clean for the busy lunch crowd. They also have ample parking because it's in a large shopping lot."
PDQ has yet to post its hours online.
