A New American spot, offering seafood and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 2200 N. Ocean Blvd., the new arrival is called DUNE. It's located right on the beach, with large windows looking out on the water and a glass enclosed terrace with a fire pit. It's the latest concept from the Michelin Star portfolio of Auberge Resorts Collection.
You'll find a menu of locally-sourced seafood, with a full raw bar, appetizers like grilled octopus and lump crab spatzle, and mains like whole roasted branzino with charred lemon or butter-poached lobster. Non-seafood options include a rack of lamb with sumac or a roasted half chicken with salsa pibil. You'll also encounter beach-inspired cocktails, and a wine program that emphasizes the produce of Napa Valley.
The new arrival has proven popular thus far, with a four-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Yelper John V., who reviewed it on Dec. 9, wrote, “Service was attentive without being intrusive. Everything about the experience focused on being natural and fitting into and blending with the beach, which is the main focus from the dining room.”
Tim A. raved, "A stunning achievement in culinary excellence by Auberge Resorts Collection in Fort Lauderdale! The service, food and wine experience is the next evolution in best-in-class dining for our city!"
