If you're on the lookout for fresh New American cuisine, a recent opening is need-to-know. The new addition to Beverly Heights, called Flight 19 Fort Lauderdale, is located at 1103 E. Las Olas Blvd.
The aviation-themed restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. On the menu, expect to find small plates of dry-rub chicken wings or crab fritters, greens, burgers, sandwiches and large plates of chicken, pork, steak and ribs. Look for the half chicken marinated with lime and tequila served with green beans.
On the libations menu, look for specialty cocktails like The Missing Man, a mix of Casamigos Blanco tequila, hibiscus, green chartreuse, agave, jalapeño and citrus.
With a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has been warmly received by patrons.
Yelper Susanne H., who reviewed Flight 19 on Dec. 2, wrote, “The menu was amazing (must try the avocado tempura and the bacon flight). The craft cocktails and beer were delicious as well. What we liked best was the family friendly, warm atmosphere."
And Jen K. wrote, "I cannot say enough good things about the pork tenderloin and the sweet potato and carrot mash on the side. It was so good that I was sad when I finished the last bite. The pricing is also reasonable."
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Flight 19 Fort Lauderdale is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.–1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
