Want to check out the newest bars in Fort Lauderdale? You're in luck: we've found the freshest places to settle in for a pint, all of them new to East Las Olas Boulevard. Here are three places to keep in mind the next time you're in search of a new tavern near you.
Flight 19 Fort Lauderdale
1103 E. Las Olas Blvd., Beverly Heights

Flight 19 Fort Lauderdale is a New American restaurant and bar located at 1103 E. Las Olas Blvd. in Beverly Heights. It's named after the mysterious disappearance of five aircraft in the Bermuda triangle after taking off from Fort Lauderdale in 1945.
On the libations menu, look for specialty cocktails like The Missing Man, a mix of Casamigos Blanco tequila, hibiscus, green chartreuse, agave, jalapeño and citrus. Try pairing them with starters like avocado tempura with spicy mayo and crab fritters, or tequila-marinated chicken served with green beans.
As for entrees, look for the shrimp and chips sandwich, with Cajun shrimp, avocado and sweet potato chips. (You can find the full menu here.)
Flight 19 Fort Lauderdale's current Yelp rating of five stars out of seven reviews indicates positive attention from users.
Yelper Lyndsey C., who reviewed Flight 19 Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 30, wrote, "Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. We especially loved the blackened mahi and swapped out the seasonal veggies for the string beans. Our kale and quinoa salad was also good."
Susanne H. agreed, "The menu was amazing! The avocado tempura and the bacon flight are must-try items, and the craft cocktails and beer were delicious too. What we liked best was the family friendly, warm atmosphere. Our kids had a blast creating paper airplanes and loved their food too! "
Flight 19 Fort Lauderdale is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Del Frisco’s Grille
501 E. Las Olas Blvd., Suite 150, Downtown

Del Frisco’s Grille is a traditional American steakhouse, beer bar and breakfast and brunch chain with over 20 locations nationwide. The 8,083-square-foot space of the new outpost boasts seafood, five cuts of steak, hand-crafted cocktails and over 100 wine selections, according to FSR Magazine.
Diners will find ahi tuna tacos, cheesesteak egg rolls and truffle mac and cheese as appetizers. The weekend brunch menu has plenty of comfort food, like warm cinnamon rolls, braised short rib hash and Southern fried chicken and waffles.
At the bar, try specialty cocktails like the Redeemer with Redemption rye whiskey, or the VIP with Svedka clementine vodka and pineapple. (Check out the full dinner menu here.)
The restaurant's current Yelp rating of three stars out of 16 reviews indicates the newcomer is finding its way due to some misses with food and service, but it's still early days.
Yelper Uriel R., who reviewed the grill on Dec. 1, wrote, "I ordered a burger with Mac and cheese on the side. The burger was decent but the Mac and cheese was the star of the evening with a smooth, supple texture and an explosion of cheese leaving you wanting another bite."
And Yelper Sherry W. noted, "The cinnamon rolls were fresh and delicious. And the truffle mac and cheese side had a baked bread crumb topping — it was very rich and creamy!"
Del Frisco’s Grille is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday, and 11 a.m.–3 p.m. on weekends.
