Stroll past 2200 N. Ocean Blvd. in Central Beach Alliance and you'll find Dune, a fine-dining New American spot offering seafood and more. Reservations are recommended at the restaurant, which is located in a fancy beachfront condo development.

With executive chef Edgar Beas at the helm, expect views of the Atlantic, beach-inspired cocktails and locally-sourced seafood, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Must-try appetizers include grilled octopus, tuna crudo and lump crab spatzel. Main dishes -- like the butter-poached lobster and short rib with sweet potato puree -- are made to impress.

Drop by 854 W. Cypress Creek Road and you'll find Fuzzy's Taco Shop, a new bar and Mexican and breakfast and brunch spot.

With 100 locations around the country, this new outlet for the national chain aims to provide a slice of "taco heaven," according to its website. Try huevos rancheros or a taco made with egg, chorizo and potato from the all-day breakfast menu.

Fuzzy's Baja offerings include the popular beef brisket and California tempura tacos, along with chips and guacamole, soups, salads and a few desserts. (View the menu here.)

Stop by 1103 E. Las Olas Blvd. in Beverly Heights and you'll find Flight 19 Fort Lauderdale, a bar and New American restaurant. And with five stars out of seven reviews on Yelp, it's been a hit thus far.

On the menu at this aviation-themed restaurant, expect to find small plates of dry-rub chicken wings or crab fritters, greens, burgers and sandwiches. Look for the half chicken marinated with lime and tequila served with green beans.

The libations menu features specialty cocktails like The Missing Man, a mix of Casamigos Blanco tequila, hibiscus, green chartreuse, agave, jalapeño and citrus.
