If you've got Mexican on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. Called Bakan Restaurant, the fresh addition is located at 2801 N.W. Second Ave.
This upscale restaurant is drawing the locals. Yelpers rave about the ceviche, lobster and chorizo tacos, enchiladas verde and Rojas as well as desserts like the churros, which are made in-house. Bakan also boasts an extensive cocktail menu with over 500 Mezcals and Tequilas, according MiamiNewTimes.com.
With a 3.5-star rating out of 19 reviews on Yelp so far, Bakan Restaurant is gradually winning over fans, one meal at a time.
Amanda F., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 9, wrote, "The queso fundido was amazing. Definitely ask for the two specialty sauces. Both the verdes and the rojas enchiladas were amazing. We will definitely be back next time we're in the neighborhood!"
Yelper Nicole L. added, “They have only been open for a week and have surpassed every expectation one could have for a new place. Everything from the classic margarita to the in-house churros was perfect. ”
