Tonight: Head to the Bakehouse Art Complex to catch a conversation with Nigerian-born artist Olalekan Jeyifous, whose work has appeared in museums all over the world. Jeyifous, who's based in Brooklyn, will discuss his artistic process, in which he combines manipulated photos, drawings and collages with digital illustrations and 3D computer modeling to examine architecture, art and their impacts on communities through a lens steeped in eco-politics and activism.

Rooftop Party: Funk It Friday 

Come Friday, No. 3 Social hosts its weekly Funk It Friday party with headlining DJ Patrick M and opener DJ Bruno Pozzo. The pair will keep the tunes rolling all night while the bar offers specials on drink and bites.

Live Show: Yung Bans and Smooky Margielaa

On Saturday, head to 380 District to catch rappers Yong Bans and Smooky Margielaa. Bans, out of Atlanta, Ga., hit the scene with his single "4Tspoon" five years ago. At just 16 years old, Margielaa has also gained popularity with recent hits.

The Brunch Club: January Session

And finally,The Brunch Club is holding its monthly meal this Sunday at the Members Club. The island-themed menu will include jerk chicken and waffles, callaloo, sweet plantains, fried dumplings and much more. To wash that all down, expect rum punch, mimosas and a full bar.
