Looking for a new bakery to check out? Look no further than this new arrival. Located at 598 E. El Camino Real, Suite 1 in Pavlina Plaza Shopping Center, the newcomer is called Paris Baguette.
The South Korea-based international chain has more than 3,700 locations worldwide, including more than 10 in Northern California, and offers a fast-casual, self-serve approach to the distribution of baked goods. The new location is part of a rapid expansion in the United States over the past year.
Customers serve themselves from shelves of croissants, sandwiches, pastries and other desserts, then order drinks like coffee and tea from the checkout counter.
The newcomer has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a four-star rating out of 12 reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Rick S. wrote, "Paris Baguette manages to consistently put out amazing baked goods at a reasonable price. The customer service is top notch, especially at the Sunnyvale location. I'm always greeted with a big smile, and a couple of the employees already remember my name."
And Stephanie E. described the space as "clean and aesthetically pleasing... The fruit on the breads tasted so fresh and sweet. Perfect for a quick snack."
