A new spot to score tacos and more has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Taco Taco, the fresh addition is located at 1720 Collins Ave. in City Center.
Located in the famous Catalina hotel, this new spot's friendly vibes, margaritas and Mexican food draw a young crowd to its late night happy hour. Tacos include the shrimp, carnitas and Korean rib, but the varied menu also features burritos, quesadillas and all-day breakfast options. Find a solid selection of Mexican beers and sangria pitchers. The new addition has gotten mixed reviews thus far, with a three-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp.
Dean G., who reviewed the new spot on Dec. 13, shared, "We had the mahi and the pulled chicken tacos, which were very good. They're not your run-of-the-mill tacos—they come with a crunchy vegetable mixture and a lime mayo that gave them a third dimension."
Yelper Judelin Y. wrote, "This is the best taco place I've ever been to. ... I had carnitas tacos, and they are to die for! The staff was very friendly and provided great service. I highly recommend this place!"
