Shortly before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, a black Lincoln SUV missed its mark at Divisadero and Golden Gate Avenue, jumping the curb, taking out two postal bins and driving through the wall of a 106-year-old residential building at 998 Divisadero.

SFPD media relations Officer Joseph Tomlinson confirmed the incident, first reported at 2:25 p.m. It appeared to be the result of an eastbound vehicle missing its shot continuing straight on Golden Gate.

The SFPD wasn't immediately able to confirm the extent of any injuries sustained by anyone on the scene. "Airbags were deployed" in the vehicle, "so everyone had to get checked out anyway," Ofc. Tomlinson said.
