Worlds Within Worlds
See IBAÑEZ KIM present their latest projects at ArtScience Culture Lab & Café this Wednesday. Event organizer, Le Laboratoire Cambridge describes IBAÑEZ KIM as “a genre-defiant design practice that works with sensate materials, atmospheres, sound and new media to generate architecture, objects and cities.” The founders, Mariana Ibañez and Simon Kim teach at MIT and the University of Pennsylvania and create conceptual designs.

David Buckley Borden: Hybrid Vigor
Stop by Reed Hilderbrand to hear Cambridge-based artist and designer, David Buckley‘s style on science communication. He will discuss his collaboration with the Harvard Forest, Hemlock Hospice, past work and his latest project, as a Now + There Accelerator artist .

Women in Art and Science, Seekers All
Join Catalyst Conversations for their discussion on art and science discussion in recognition of Women’s History Month. Dr. Jody Weber, Lucy Kim, Stacey Gabriel and Ashlee M. will be the speakers at the event. Brief introductions will be given, followed by each speaker sharing her own thoughts on the relationship between art and science and how and it influences their thinking and projects.

Panel Discussion: What is the Value of Design in Learning?
