Let's groove tonight: New nightclub Arena SF now open in the MissionPhoto: JessePanda C./Yelp

Looking for a new place to get your groove on? Look no further than new arrival Arena SF, now open at 2565 Mission St. (between 21st and 22nd streets) in the former Mission Street Sports Bar space.

Mission Street proprietor Richard Einselen is joined in the new venture by partners Jackson Chung and Dave Ho, who also own an Arena nightclub in Los Angeles' Koreatown, according to Mission Local.

The club specializes in hip-hop music and has no cover charge for customers over 21 on most nights. Not of drinking age? The club is open to over-18 patrons on Thursdays only. Find out more and view prices for bottle service at the club's website.

The new arrival has received a mixed reaction thus far, with a three-star rating out of 12 reviews on Yelp.

A number of reviewers experienced long waits and no guarantee of entry due to crowd volume, like Zelina R.: "We had prepaid tickets ($20 for one ticket) and they cut off the line because the venue reached max capacity. ... We waited in line from 9pm until 11:30pm, 2 and a half hours for security to tell people who had prepaid tickets that we couldn't enter."

However, Yelper Ellen N. was more positive: "The line is pretty long but comparable to what the club in L.A. is like or any other clubs in SF. (Good things come to those who wait!) I went last weekend with my girlfriends and had a blast! This will be our go-to club."

Head on over to check it out: Arena SF is open from 9:30 p.m.–2 a.m. on Thursday-Saturday. (It's closed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday.)

It’s wine o’clock somewhere.

Hitting up new and buzzy hotspots is all well and good — but it usually involves leaving your pajamas at home. Skip the hassle and get straight to the good stuff with Winc, the wine club that curates bottles based on your personal taste, and delivers ‘em straight to your doorstep. Like berry-forward flavors, hate bitterness, and crave earthy notes? Winc has the wines for you, for as little as $13 a bottle.
