For over ten years, the visionary violinist has made it his life's mission to inspire people—from TED talks to Burning Man to radio, TV, and film appearances. After walking away from a distinguished career as a symphony violinist, he followed his dreams full-time and ended up inventing a brand new musical genre. As a one-man symphony, he now improvises on a five-string electric violin.

The Legendary David Murray / Kahil El'Zabar Quartet

David Murray and Kahil El’Zabar are recognized by their peers as two modern music masters known for their interpretations within the history and future of great black music. Both have been at the forefront of creative exploration and compositional diversity over the past four decades. El’Zabar has worked with such luminaries as Dizzy Gillespie, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder and more. Murray is currently working with Macy Gray as part of his David Murray Big Band.
