The cheapest flights between New Orleans and Detroit are if you leave on June 8 and return from Michigan on June 10. Spirit Airlines currently has tickets for $158, roundtrip.

There are also deals to be had in August. If you fly out of New Orleans on Aug. 14 and return from Detroit on Aug. 18, Spirit Airlines can get you there and back for $168 roundtrip.
