Five adults were displaced after a fire in the Inner Richmond last night. No one was injured.

The fire took place inside a home at 571 3rd Ave. (at Balboa) at 7:44 p.m., the San Francisco Fire Department said.

The fire was contained within 30 minutes of its first being reported. It also prompted an avoid the area warning from the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management.

The five displaced residents were assisted by the Red Cross and city services, SFFD said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
